Marta wins ITF $25K Singles Title in Japan
Marta rounded off her series of three artificial grass tournaments in Japan with her third singles title of the year. She won the ITF $25K Tournament in Karuizawa defeating the experienced home player Junri Namigata (WR 190) 6-4 2-6 6-4 in the final.

Marta wins Singles & Doubles Titles in Phuket
Phuket II
Marta continued her great start to 2012 at the Phuket I & II ITF $25,000 tournaments in Thailand. In the first tournament she won her second consecutive doubles title with a highly impressive 6-1 6-4 victory over the highly ranked No 1 seeds. She then went on to capture the Phuket II singles title with a 7-5 7-6 victory in the final over Claire Feuerstein having already beaten the No. 1 seed in the quarter finals.

Marta wins her first ITF $25K Doubles Title
Moscow 25K

Marta played her first ITF $25K tournament of 2012 in Moscow. She reached the quarter finals of the singles and, partnering Oksana Kalashnikova, went on to win the doubles in a close fought 11-9 champions tie-break.
